Mini markets opportunities

The extraordinary success of companies such as Amazon, Facebook and Apple mean their share prices have risen sharply. This has put them out of reach for many traders who don’t want to tie up their money on the large deposits required to open and hold positions in these stocks.

At Trade Nation we’ve created Mini Markets to make Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Alphabet (Google’s parent company) more accessible. We’ve also made other US giants, including household-favourites such as Walt Disney, Microsoft, NIKE and Coca-Cola, more affordable to trade.

Trading FAANGs

The acronym FAANG stands for Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google (now known as Alphabet). These are the tech giants that have so dominated US stock market activity in recent years. But their stock prices have risen so high that they have become too expensive to trade for many people. That’s why we’ve come up with our Mini Markets.

How have Trade Nation made these companies accessible?

What we’ve done is simply divide the share price of each of these giant corporations by 10. This means that the deposit required to spread trade on them is 10 times cheaper than before. It also means that the new prices fluctuate less sharply. You can see all our Mini Markets on your Trade Nation platform.

Financial spread trading comes with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You should consider whether you understand how spread trading works and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
